WhatsApp AI Business Agent
At Vloto, our customer support line was getting flooded with repetitive phone calls — the same questions about pricing, car availability, and booking details over and over. I built an AI agent on the WhatsApp Business API that gives customers a faster channel to get answers, in both Dutch and English, matching Vloto's tone.
Key Highlights
- Beyond answering FAQs from a trained knowledge base, the agent uses tool calling to perform actual actions on bookings — extending rentals, checking availability, updating details — all with backend validation layers to ensure security and data integrity
- The result: phone calls dropped significantly, and the agent now autonomously resolves 55% of all WhatsApp conversations without any human involvement
- The solving rate keeps climbing as the knowledge base and available tools grow
