License Plate Detection System
A Spanish parking company needed to automate their vehicle access control. I built a computer vision system using C++ and OpenCV that reads license plates from real-time video feeds at 30 FPS.
It handles various lighting conditions and weather, achieving 97.3% accuracy across European plate formats. Integrated with their existing parking management software, reducing manual oversight by 85% and eliminating unauthorized access.
